Studies: He studied in the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Valencia. In addition, he studied jazz in seminars and Master Classes in Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona and Portugal with Dave Schnitter, Bobby Watson, Pedro Iturralde, Jerry Bergonzi, Barry Harris, Johny Griffin, Mike. P. Mossman, Perico Sambeat, Frank Tiberi, Greg Hopkings…


In 1991 he founded the “Sedajazz” musicians collective, conducting several groups as the Sedajazz Big Band, Sedajazz Latin Ensemble, Sedajazz Orchestra…

He has participated in the most prestigious jazz festivals of Spain and Portugal, and also in Italy, France, Deutschland, Palestine, South Africa, Mozambique, Mexico, Libanon, Venezuela, Bosnia Herzegovina …

With Sedajazz he has played and recorded beside great musicians as Pat Metheny, Miguel “Angá” Díaz, Perico Sambeat, Jordi Rossy, Arturo O’Farril, Mike P. Mossman, Jorge Pardo, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Chris Check, Bernardo Sasseti, Maria Pia de Vito, Bruce Barth, Debora J. Carter , Horacio “El Negro” Hernández, Chano Domínguez, Ze Eduardo, Marc Nightingale.

He has played with Saxomania (first price in “Muestra Nacional del jazz”), Joshua Edelman & Conexiones con Steve Turre, Perico Sambeat Flamenco Big Band, Chano Domínguez y Martirio with TVE Orquesta…

In the pop scene he was a member of the Presuntos Implicados band for 10 years, recording and touring with them through Spain, Central America, Puerto Rico, R. Dominicana, Colombia…

He has also played with artists as Soledad Giménez, Armando Manzanero, Lola Flores, Clara Montes, Serrat, Seguridad Social, Betty Harris…


Teacher in Sedajazz Music School since its foundation, with a remarkable work with young musicians, being the promotor of the “Sedajazz Kids Band & Jove Big band”.

Director and teacher of 28 International Jazz Seminars made in the Palau de la música de Valencia, Teatro Central de Sevilla, Workshop de jazz de Tavira (Portugal), Alhaurín de la Torre (Málaga).

He is continually doing countless didactic activities about jazz in conservatories, academies, and bands around Spain.

In collaboration with the Agencia de Cooperación Española en Palestina, he travels to Palestine twice for performing and teaching in the conservatories of Ramala, Belen and Jerusalen.

He developed a jazz workshop with the Campeche’s Orchestra (Mexico). He did a masterclass in the Maputo University (Mozambique), Johanesburgo (Sud Africa), Mostar (Bosnia Herzergovina), Caracas (Venezuela).
